Terms of use
Last updated October 9, 2026
Homecoming ("the game") is a free browser game made by Andrew Maxwell. By playing it you agree to these terms.
Not affiliated with any school or league
Homecoming is an independent fan game. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any school, school district, state athletic association, the NFHS, any college or professional league, or any video game publisher. School names and cities are used only to identify real places so you can play on your own field. The game uses no school logos, mascots artwork or trademarks; teams are shown with initials and approximate colors only.
Players are fictional
Every player, coach, athletic director, booster, reporter and other character in the game is fictional. Names are randomly generated. Any resemblance to real people, including real students or staff at any school, is coincidental.
Map and school data
Fields and neighborhoods are rebuilt from OpenStreetMap, and the school list comes from public U.S. Department of Education (NCES) data and Wikidata. This information can be incomplete, outdated or wrong: a school may be missing, a field may be in the wrong place, or colors may be off. The game is for entertainment only; don't rely on it for directions, school information or anything else.
Corrections and removal requests
If you represent a school and want its name, colors or field corrected or removed, or you believe something in the game infringes your rights, email andrewmaxwellbusiness@gmail.com and we'll respond promptly.
Ads, purchases and no gambling
The game is free and supported by occasional ads between games. An optional one-time purchase, Homecoming Pro ($4.99), removes ads and adds extras; it is sold through Lemon Squeezy, and its price, refund and cancellation terms are on the Pro page. There are no prizes or wagering, and in-game money, fans and points have no value outside the game.
Your use
Play for fun and share screenshots and clips freely. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the game itself, or use it to harass anyone.
Ownership
The game's original code, art, music and writing are © 2026 Andrew Maxwell, all rights reserved. Third-party code, models, sounds, fonts and data belong to their owners and are used under the licenses listed on the credits page.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It may have bugs, change or go offline at any time. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Andrew Maxwell is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the game, including lost saves.
